Survey of Facebook ‘like’ for Scottish University Prospectus Pages

Martin Hawksey has just published a fascinating blog post entitled “How do I ‘like’ your course? The value of Facebook recommendation” (see in which he not only surveys use of social media presence on (some) Scottish University Web sites and use of Facebook ‘Like’ icon on course and prospectus pages but also provides suggestions on the economic value of use of a ‘Like’ icon: “$2.52 is the average return to Eventbrite each time that someone clicks the Facebook ‘Like’ button!

Martin suggested I carry out a similar survey of Russell Group Universities.
